D.I.Y: Green Tea face mask/scrub

Heyy Guys! It's been a while since my last D.I.Y post and hence, I decided to show you how you can make your own green mask/scrub! I have 3 face masks I want to show you!

But before I get started, I'm going to tell you why green tea might actually be such a good option for you!

1.) Anti-oxidants found in green tea can help you burn fat as fuel and help improve overall muscle endurance.
2.) It will help you in digestion and prevent bloating
3.) It hydrates your skin
4.) Green Tea is known for it's anti-inflammatory and anti-carcinogenic effects.

Now the masks:

1.) Green Tea and Rice flour mask
  • There's two ways to do this:
    • First one's using the actual Tea -
      • Make yourself a pot of green tea and now let the Tea cool down in the refrigerator
      • Next take 3 tablespoons of green tea and mix with 3-4 tablespoons of rice flour.
      • apply this onto your face and rinse off after 15 minutes.
      • Remember to moisturize your skin after this.
    • Second, using the actual green tea leaves
      • After making your Tea, use the leftover green Tea leaves that you were going to throw away and let it cool
      • Now take this mixture and add 2-3 tablespoons of rice flour (add this depending on the amount of green tea you have)  until you get a paste.
      • Apply this onto your face and wash off after 10-15 minutes!
      • Moisturize after! Viola! you're done!

2.) Green Tea and Honey scrub:
  • This is an easy one!
  • First step, use leftover green tea bags from your tea session!
  • Cut the bags and take the leaves out now add 2-3 table spoons of honey and apply to your face!
  • Leave for 10-15 minutes, wash away and moisturize!
3.) Green Tea and Avocado mask
  • Easy one again, all you need used green tea leaves and 1/4 (or less) of an avocado
  • mash up the avocado into a paste then add 2 green tea bag worth of leaves and mix them!
  • Apply on to your face, wash off after 10-15 minutes!
  • Moisturize!
Some Tips:
  • Wash your face beforehand with lukewarm water to open up pores and also use a cleanser or a face wash before you get started!
  • Know your allergies and how your skin reacts to this on a small region on your hand or legs before you use the whole mask~
  • Remember what you eat will reflect ~ eat healthy, drink green tea, juices, lots of water (it's good for you), workout to keep you focussed at work, and keep your body healthy! so both your body and your mind will be fresh! Avoid drinking, smoking and eating junk! Your body will thank you later!
  • Love yourself!

D.I.Y: The embellished Headband

What you need:

1.) embellishments or studs
2.) an elastic headband
3.) super glue/hot glue gun

Here's how I did it:

1.) Gather all your necessary materials.

2.) Glue the embellishments (you can find them at any craft store!) to the headband and make sure they're secure.

3.) Incase you don't want your embellishments to go all the way around, you can tape the points so you get the desired length of embellishments.

4.) This D.I.Y literally took me five minutes and it was super easy to make! If you try this DIY let me know how it worked out for you in the comments section below!

10 SHOES EVERY GIRL NEEDS

Here's a list of shoes that every girl's closet needs:

P.S. - This is just a list of shoes that I think meet the necessity.

1) Black Pumps

An absolute basic necessity and a versatile piece. I say this because you can wear them to an interview/presentation and even to a dinner!

2.) Nude Pumps

3.) Ballerina flats

These are great as they look cute and are super comfy to walk in! Simple pair them up with a casual dress or jeans and a top.

4.) Tall Boots

An essential during the fall and winter months (depending on how strong your winter is!).

4.) Flat sandals

They are perfect for the summer as they look adorable and will go with your summer dresses!

5.) Canvas sneakers
Simply slip them on when you have your hands full or if you're having a lazy day!

6.) Anke length Boots

Pivotal during the fall, these will add a lot more edge to your outfit.

7.) Rain/snow Boots

For the crazy rainy days when you don't want to destroy your normal shoes!

8.) Workout or Running Shoes

What can say about these? You really need them!

9.) Wedges

The look great and are easier to walk in than pumps.

10.) Party heels

Whether it's prom, a winter ball or just a night out with some friends, wear them as they make you feel fabulous and super confident!
